The Studio
The studio is situated in Woodstock, Cape Town’s traditional industrial centre. In recent years it has seen the rapid gentrification of this area and as such it is developing as a fluid and creative space, and it has fast become one of South Africa’s contemporary design hubs.
“My studio environment has always been a dynamic space as I enjoy working equally with concepts in both physical raw form as well as virtual forms with the use of leading edge software. This duality gives me a unique understanding of the complexity of construction methods and allows me insight into materials limitations. My space can be described as a laboratory as I experiment with new methods and materials on a daily basis.”
